To register, you need to download the Parkio app on your smartphone and follow the instructions. You must also agree to our terms and conditions and privacy policy during registration.
You can pay via invoice (with a handling fee for paper invoices, SMS invoices, or email invoices), card payment, or e-invoice. Note that a handling fee applies depending on the chosen invoice type.
Parkio collaborates with various parking operators, and each city has its own rules and fees. Check which areas are supported by Parkio before starting a parking session.
If your account lacks sufficient funds or if your payment method fails, your parking service may be temporarily suspended until the payment is completed. Reminder fees may also be applied.
If you do not follow parking rules, the parking provider, in collaboration with Parkio, may temporarily suspend your account and issue sanctions, such as a control fee.

If you have activated tactical renewal in the app, the parking will start automatically when you arrive and register your vehicle. Once the purchase is made, it cannot be canceled. If you have chosen to pay by invoice and the invoice has been created, the purchase cannot be canceled either.
Card payment can be done by registering a card in the app. Parkio charges your card for each parking session, and all card payments are securely handled by Worldline Sweden AB. We never store your complete card details.
- For invoice payment, you need to provide the required information that appears when selecting the invoice payment option. You then choose the type of invoice you want to use for the payment
To update your payment method, open the menu in the app, select “Payment Method,” and then choose whether you want to pay by invoice or card.
If you are unable to use Parkio’s services due to technical issues, you are responsible for choosing an alternative payment method for your parking.

No, Parkio’s services are primarily designed for use in the app. You need to use the app to start, stop, and pay for parking.

- Fill in and update your profile.
- View and download your receipts and invoices.

- Manage your parking sessions and permits.
- Check your parking history.

SMS parking is always invoiced via SMS. The invoice is sent in the middle of the month. If the amount is under 10 SEK, it is accumulated and invoiced the following month via SMS.
Ensure that you have entered the correct zone code, registration number, and personal ID in the correct format. If the problem persists, we recommend using alternative payment methods available at the parking location.

The invoice is sent in the middle of the month when you have started parking or purchased a parking permit.
The invoice is sent via mail, email, or SMS, depending on your choice. A handling fee applies depending on the invoice type:
- Paper invoice: 19 SEK
- SMS invoice: 10 SEK
- Email invoice: 10 SEK
You have 14 days to pay the invoice, regardless of whether it is sent via mail, email, or SMS.
The invoice is postponed to the following month.
If payment is delayed, a statutory reminder fee will be applied, and the case may be forwarded to a debt collection agency. Your parking permit may also be temporarily suspended until payment is made.
Yes, you can easily change your invoice method in the app settings or by logging in to our website.

We support VISA and Mastercard. To add a card, you need to enter the card number, expiration date, and the CVC code located on the back of the card.
Your card is charged each time you make a purchase. When you press “End,” we calculate the cost for the time you have parked and charge your card. SMS parking and long-term parking are paid in advance at the time of purchase.
Yes, we use Worldline Sweden AB to handle all card payments, and we never store your complete card details.

Open the app and enter the area code or the area in the app’s search bar. When you find the correct area, click on it. You will be taken to a page in the app where you can park. If the area offers parking permits, a “Buy Permit” button will appear at the top right corner. Press the button and select the type of permit you want.
If you do not see a “Buy Permit” button, it could be because there are no permits available for that area, or they are not currently for sale.
In some areas, you are required to verify your identity and address to purchase a parking permit. By using Freja eID, we ensure that only individuals who meet the specified requirements, such as being registered at a specific address, can buy permits.
No, once the permit is purchased, the purchase cannot be reversed.
Yes, you can easily switch the vehicle for your parking permit in the app by going to your account and updating the vehicle details.

The company’s designated administrator has full control over the business account through the control panel. This person handles all purchases and determines which features employees have access to. It is also the company’s responsibility to ensure that accurate information is registered for all users.
Download the Parkio app from the App Store or Google Play. Log in with your phone number. Once logged in, click on the menu in the top right corner. Select “Business” and fill in the requested information. Parkio’s support team will review the details and send a confirmation to the provided email address
